Group Aims To Boot Up Blockchain In Wyoming
A new group in Wyoming is hoping to attract businesses involved in Blockchain to the state, saying it has created an advisory board to promote adoption of blockchain technology. The Wyoming Blockchain Coalition, led by David A. Pope, said it is hoping to create a legal and regulatory environment that welcomes blockchain technology companies to do business in Wyoming. Among the members of its group are former Wyoming Governor Jim Geringer and Overstock.com CEO Patrick Byrne. Blockchain is the technology behind Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies.
