Galvanize Chops 37 in Denver As Coding Schools Hit Speed Bump
Denver-based coding bootcamp operator Galvanize has cut 37 staffers in Denver, or 11 percent of its employees, among a widespread retreat among coding school and bootcamp operators. Galvanize had 350 employees before the cuts. Galvanize is not the only coding school operator to make cuts recently: San Francisco-based coding school Dev Bootcamp recently announced plans to shut down, and South Carolina-based The Iron Yard is also closing.
