Techstars Ventures Backs Retail Accelerator Startup Branch Messenger
Techstars Ventures, the venture investment arm of Boulder-based startup accelerator network operator Techstars, is part of a new round of investment for Branch Messenger. Branch Messenger said it raised $10M in funding, with a $6.8M Series A funding led by March Capital Partners, and also included CrossCut Ventures, Techstars Ventures, Matchstick Ventures and others. Branch Messenger--part of the Target + Techstars Retail Accelerator in Minneapolis--says it develops a self-service platform for employees, to manage the communications between hourly shift workers and the companies that employ them.
