SendGrid Plans Expansion In California
Boulder-based SendGrid, which provides email delivery services for such companies as Airbnb, Spotify, Pandora and Uber, announced this morning that it is planning a major expansion in California. SendGrid said it has signed leases for new office space in both Irvine, California, and Redwood City, California. Irvine is in Southern California's Orange County, Redwood City is in Silicon Valley. According to SendGrid, the expansion triples it footprint in California. SendGrid says its Irvine office incldues 22,000 square feet, and its new Redwood City office has 15,000 square feet of office space. The company says is now has over 400 employees, split between Denver, Redwood City, Orange County and London.
