Liqid Gets $10M For Bare Metal Datacenter Efforts
Lafayette, Colorado-based Liqid said Wednesday that it has raised $10M in a Series A funding, for its efforts to create a platform to create bare-metal, adaptable systems for the data center. The funding came from Marker Hill Capital, and also included Phison Electronics Corporation. Liqid says it has now raised $20M, including prior seed funding from Kingston Technology, Phison Electronics, ABR Capital Management and DH Capital. Liqid says its system uses a PCI-express (PCIe) fabric to decouple the limitations of motherboards. Jay Breakstone is CEO of Liqid.
