MJ Freeway Gets $3M From Silicon Valley Investors For Cannabis Software
Denver-based MJ Freeway, a developer of software and consulting services for the cannabis industry, has scored $3M in funding from several well-known Silicon Valley investors. The company said last week that it received $3M in a Series B extension from Roger McNamee and Tao Capital Partners. The company said the funding goes towards continued market expansion. The company is among at least four local software companies specifically focused on cannabis to get funding in the last six months or so, including rounds for Flowhub, Leaflink, Wurk, and BDS Analytics.
