weBoost Launches New 4G Signal Booster Kit
St. George, Utah-based WeBoost, which develops cell phone signal boosters, has launched a new product called the eqo 4G, aimed at home, apartment, and office installations. According to weBoost, its new product improves 4G signals by up to 32X, providing a 3.3X stronger signal and 1.7X greater coverage than its predecessor. The company's product receives and amplifies 4G LTE and 3G voice and data signals, using an external antenna which is wired to the indoor device. The new product has an MSRP of $379.99. WeBoost--formerly, Wilson Electronics--originally got its start developing cell phone signal boosters for the industrial market, but recently has also been pursuing the consumer market. The company changed its name in 2015, although it has recently revived using Wilson Electronics for its professional and industrial products.
