SecureSet Hopes To Make Almost Anyone A Cybersecurity Expert
Denver-based SecureSet Academy says it is hoping to make almost anyone a cyber security expert, saying it has just launched a new boot camp, specifially aiming at non-technical job seekers. The company said its 12-week Hunt Analyst Bootcamp, which launches in May, specifically is looking for people with backgrounds in business, science, and liberal arts, who do not have the traditional background for those in cyber security. The company says "hunt analysts" ore "creative data sleuths" who work alongside security engineers and other technical types to analyze IT environment activity, find vulnerabilities, and set tracks for hackers. SecureSet recently raised a funding from the Colorado Impact Fund.
