Collective Retreats Collects $2.5M For Luxury Travel Experiences
Denver-based Collective Retreats, which develops luxury, "glamping" style retreats which combine luxury with remote locations, has raised $2.5M in a seed funding, the company disclosed this week. The funding came from First Round Capital, Slow Ventures, BoxGroup, BBG Ventures, as well as angels. Collective Retreats creates luxury, temporary retreats (ie. luxury tents) in areas you would not normally be able to build hotels; with current locations in Vail, near Yellowstone, and other similar locations; those luxury tents go from $500 to $700 per night, but include gourmet meals, plush king beds, private bathrooms, and much more.
