Wowza Opens Live Streaming API For Unity
Golden, Colorado-based Wowza Media Systems has opened up a new live streaming API, which helps gamers and developers live stream video from Unity apps. Wowza said its new plugin for the popular Unity game development software lets develops stream live video from any Made with Unity application, including VR and AR, panoramic 360, and other Unity games. Wowza said the new tool comes thanks to Oxagile, which developed the software in the 2016 Wowza GoCoder SDK Development Challenge. The software has been released to open source in the Github code repository.
