Optiv Security Acquisition By KKR Completes
Denver-based cybersecurity provider Optiv Security and private equity investor KKR said this mornign that they have completed the acquisition of Optiv by KKR. The deal had been announced in December. No financials behind the deal had been announced. Optiv said it will use the investment to accelerate its service and solutions capabilities, and U.S. and international expansion. Optiv is led by CEO Dan Burns. KKR said it made the investment from its eleventh Americas Private Equity investment fund; the company has made a number of cybersecurity investments in the past few years, including another Denver firm, Ping Identity.
