Techstars announced its latest
Techstars Boulder class this morning, saying that it has selected thirteen companies for what is the accelerator's 11th class since starting in 2007.
According to Techstars, the class includes five companies from Colorado, two from New York, and one each from Atlanta, Austin, Canada, Los Angeles, Portugal and San Francisco. Continuing efforts by Techstars across its network of programs, the Boulder program has 77% of the company founders have diverse backgrounds based on gender, ethnicity, nationality, race or age. The companies in the new class include
Airstream Health (health insurance plans for self-insured employers);
Attentive (competitive intelligence software);
Blank Slate Systems (workflow management software);
Candl (Global Wi-fi hotspot network);
Data Nerds (real estate and property data);
Global EIR Coalition (support for international entrepreneurs);
Hardbound (smartphone stories);
Ironcore Labs (encryption-as-a-service);
Monday (personalized job discovery);
PreFix (home maintenance);
Rodin (VR apps);
Sitter (babysitter marketplace); and
Stateless (network virtualization);.
