ARCOM Buys Software Company InterSpec
Salt Lake City-based ARCOM, a publisher of specifications for the architectural industry, has acquired InterSpec, a developer of software used for generating specifications for architects and engineers. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. InterSpec was basedin Maine. ARCOM is owned by private equity investor Alpine Investors. MasterSpec's specifications are used by architects and engineers to create customized technical construction documents.
