Three Colorado Companies Join Wells Fargo Cleantech Incubator
Three, Colorado companies--Transformative Wave, simuwatt, and EdgePower, are joining a clean technology incubator run by Wells Fargo, according to Wells Fargo this week. Wells Fargo announced ten companies for its class of startups that will be part of its Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN2), saying it will invest $250,000 each in each company, as well as receive financial and technical consultation from a network of experts, plus research and testing support at US National Renewable Energy Laboratory's facility in Golden, Colo. Wells Fargo's cleantech incubator is run in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Transformative Wave is developing HVAC, light, and battery storage retrofit kits for commercial buildings; simuwatt develops energy auditing software; and EdgePower develops cloud-based, energy simulation applications for analyzing and enhancing buildings.
