Western Union Backs Mobile Payment Startup Walletron
Englewood, Colorado-based money transfer and payments firm Western Union announced today that it has made a strategic investment in Philadelphia-based Walletron, a developer of mobile wallet bill and payment software. Financial details of the strategic investment were not announced. Walletron's software links into existing mobile wallet software like Apple Wallet and Android Pay, helping billers present bills to their customers.
