Venafi Simplifies Secure Key, Certificate Integration
Salt Lake City-based Venafi, the provider of security software for cryptographic keys and digital certificates, says it has simplified the integration of its platform with certificate-dependent, third party applications. According to the company, the latest release of its platform includes an "Adaptable Application Driver" to automate the provisioning of keys and certificates with third party vendors. Key management and certificates have traditionally been a labor-intensive, manual effort by IT administrators; the company cited integration with AVI Networks, Brocade, Radware, and others. Venafi is backed by Intel Capital, Silver Lake Waterman, QuestMark Partners, Foundation Capital, Pelion Venture Partners, and Mercato Partners.
