Sorenson Capital Names Blackwell As Managing Director
Salt Lake City-based private equity investor Sorenson Capital has named Len Blackwell as the company's Managing Director, Portfolio Operations, according to the firm. Blackwell has been at Sorenson Capital since 2006. The firm said that the new position was newly create to "leverage his unique combination of abilities". Among Blackwell's prior experience had been as a Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Sorenson Capital mostly makes small and middle market buyout and growth investments, of between $10M and $40M; the company has $1 billion in capital under management. The appointment had been announced late last week.
