Avnet Courts Makers With New Website
Phoenix-based electronics distributor Avnet is looking to court more of the "Maker" market -- those hobbyists who are into building things -- with a new online directory called MakerSource.io. Avnet's new website is aimed at both individuals and startups. Avent said the site will provide a central place for innovators, service providers, technical experts and other stakeholders to find help with funding, engineering, traditional and additive manufacturing, marketing, supply chain management, and even website development.
