Boulder-based bandwidth and fiber provider Zayo Group reports this morning that it has been selected by a global content delivery network (CDN) provider, for a backbone traffic effort. Name of that CDN and financial impact of the deal were not announced. Zayo said the deal will use both its North American and European infrastructure, and highlighted the use of the assets it acquired from Allstream and Viatel. The CDN has purchased 20 point-to-point, 10G wavelengths under the multi-year contract.
