Granicus Acquired By Vista Equity Partners
Denver-based Granicus, a developer of cloud-based software for the government sector, has been acquired by private equity investor Vista Equity Partners. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Granicus was previously owned by another, private equity company, K1 Investment Management, which will retain a minority equity stake in Granicus. The companies aid approximately 10 percent of all state and local municipalities in the United States are using Granicus' suite of products. Granicus was advised by Shea & Company in the deal, with Vista represented by Atlas Technology Group.
