eBags Adopts Amazon Prime Day
In an unusual move, Denver-based online luggage, backpack and accessories retailer eBags said it is launching a big sale on its site, to coincide with e-commerce giant Amazon.com's upcoming "Amazon Prime Day". eBags said it will offer up products up to 85% off in celebration of "Amazon Prime Day", which it says is now the fourth largest retail "holiday" during the year. Unlike Amazon's "Prime Day" offers--which are only avaliable to Amazon's Prime Members, it appears that eBags is offering up its own deals to all of its shoppers. eBags has its own Amazon.com storefront, in addition to its own e-commerce efforts, but it's unclear if Amazon.com has endorsed eBags adoption of its big sale.
