DISH Launches Smartphone Repair Service
Dropped your iPhone, again, and shattered the screen? Englewood, Colorado-based DISH said it has launched a new service, where it will send out its fleet of professional service technicians to fix your phone. DISH--better known for its satellite broadcasting services--said its new "Smart Phone Repair" service will put a technician at your door, to repair cracked screens and replace batteries for Apple iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, and 6 Plus smartphones. Pricing on the new service was not announced. DISH said it expects to expand it service in coming months to additional devices and smartphone accessories.
