Google's Nest Shuts Off Revolv
Are you one of the early adopters of Revolv, the connected home management device which was developed in Boulder? Too bad. Nest, the current owner of Revolv, said it is completely shutting down Revolv, and its smart home hub, as of May 15th. According to a post from Revolv's founders, the hardware hub, and app, will no longer work, because Revolv "can't allocate resources to Revolv anymore". Revolv was acquired by Google's Nest unit in October of 2014. Revolv came out of Techstars in November of 2013.
