Zayo Launches Metered, On-Demand Connectivity
Boulder-based bandwidth provider Zayo Group is bringing meter, on-demand connectivity to the high speed Ethernet market, saying it has launched a new flexible bandwidth produt called FlexConnect. According to Zayo, the new service gives companies usage-based, Layer 2 Ethernet cloud and data center connectivity, which is billed by data usage. Zayo said the new service can help customers connect more than 200 data centers and AWS, Microsoft Azure, VMWare and Cisco Intercloud. Pricing on the new product was not announced.
