CasaTunes Releases New Music Servers
Ft. Collins, Colorado-based multi-room music streaming hardware developer CasaTunes has rolled out a set of new music servers, the company said this week, aimed at the home automation market. According to CasaTunes, its new CT-1 and CT-2 multi-mode music servers are aimed at providing its home automation dealers with two products which support streaing Internet radio and music services, along with the ability to play a customers' own music, starting at $595. The new devices control such third party audio distribution systems as those from Audio Authority, Channel Vision, Leviton, Knoll, NuVo, RTI, Russound and SpeakerCraft, plus plug into home automation systems from Control4, RTI, URC and KeyDigital Compass Control.
