Notion Starts Shipping Smart Home Sensors
Boulder-based Notion, which develops smart home sensors that help users monitor doors, windows, cabinets, and other objects in the home, told its supporters on Thursday that it has begun shipping its first products. The startup--which got its start out of Techstars--is led by Brett Jurgens, and was co-founded by Ryan Margoles. Notion first started working on its products two years ago. The company initially raised funding on Kickstarter, and also had been a semifinalist in a big competition run by Cisco for smart home devices.
