DigitalGlobe Targets Product For Summer Olympics
Westminster, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe said today that it has rolled out a special package of high resolution, satellite imagery and information specifically for the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janiero. DigitalGlobe said it will provide historical and near-real time high resolution satellite imagery, a data set describing the local environment, and a highly detailed Digital Surface Model (DSM) of Rio de Janeiro and the Olympic venues. Pricing on the package was not announced.
