Competition Dangles $60,000 For Health, Wellness Apps From Students
A competition behind held in Utah, at the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business, is dangling $60,000 in prizes to student teams, who are developing digital games and apps targeting health and wellness. The MetLife - SocialWellth Games4Health Challenge, which is being held in March 31st in Salt Lake City, says last year that 150 students from 10 universities and four countries participated in the challenge; the group is hoping to double that participation this year. The competition is being run by the The Sorenson Center for Discovery & Innovation at The University of Utah David Eccles School of Business.
