Tempe, Arizona-based identity theft protection provider LifeLock said late Wednesday that Todd Davis, co-founder and CEO of the company, has become Executive Vice Chairman, and that it has appointed Hilary Schneider as its new CEO. Schneider also joins the board. Schneider has been President of Lifelock since 2012, and prior to that had been EVP Yahoo! Americas, and also served at Knight Ridder Digital, Red Herring Communications, Times Mirror, and Drexel Burnham Lambert. As part of the moves, the company also said that Roy C. Guthrie, one of its board members, will become Chairman of the Board. Todd Davis is best known for boldly posting his social security number across LifeLock's magazine, television, and other advertisements.
