MyHeritage Boosts Sharing, Collaboration Tools
Lehi, Utah-based MyHeritage, which provides an online service focused on family history, said it is looking to boost sharing and collaboration efforts for its users doing family history research, with a new feature. MyHeritage said the new Search Connect feature helps other users of its system, who are looking for the same ancestors or relatives, and get in touch with them. MyHeritage said it is now indexing all of the searches being made by its members, and letting other users get in contact with others who have made those same kind of searches. MyHeritage said users who don't want to share their searches can opt out of the new feature.
