Vivint Turns To Home Alone For Holiday Promo
Provo, Utah-based home automation and security provider Vivint said today that it has inked a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, to feature the film and characters from Home Alone in a promotional campaign. According to Vivint, it is running a promotion and sweepstakes, which will offer up prizes ranging from a holiday trip to Chicago to a year of free pizza, plus free installation and equipment to consumers who sign up for the company's home security monitoring service. Home Alone--released 25 years ago--featured an eight year old who uses a series of booby traps to foil two comedic burlars trying to break into his house when his family leaves for the holidays and he is left behind.
