Zayo has paired up with streaming movie provider
Netflix, to create a new peering Internet exchange in Atlanta, the two said today. According to Zayo, its zColo data center and colocation business will provide space, power, and network connectivity, and Netflix will provide switching equipment and technology, for the new community-based peering exchange in Atlanta, Georgia, being organized by Community IX Holdings. The new CIX-ATL exchange, like other Internet exchanges, are used a connection points for exchanging Internet traffic. Zayo is a provider of bandwidth, fiber, colocation, and other related services.
