Ampsy Ties Into IBM Watson
Ampsy, a startup devleoping social content sharing and aggregation software developer, said this week that it has linked into IBM Watson. The startup, which has a satellite office in Phoenix, says it is using IBM Watson as part of a new analytics offering, AmpElite analytics. The new software is used by live event organizers and others better understand social content sharing and fan sentiment. Ampsy has its headquarters in Los Angeles, and is backed by venture capital investors and angels, including Scout Ventures, Hivers & Strivers, Woodside O-Brien, Rick Dalzell (Amazon), Rich Heise (Groupon), Kelly Perdew and other angels.
