Park City, Utah-based after school learning company Zaniac announced today that it has launched a new effort, which uses Minecraft and 3D design software to help teach kids about architecture. Zaniac--which offers up its program via a franchise system--said its new Architectural Design course will teach kids about how to design structures, cities and towns using the popular video game Minecraft. The company says that it uses the game-based learning to teach key math and science concepts in city planning.
