Kindara Finds $5.3M For Women's Fertility Tracking
Boulder-based women's fertility tracking app and device maker Kindara, which is led by Will Sacks, announced a $5.3M funding round this morning, to help grow its mobile health apps. According to Kindara, the seed funding round included $1.9M in convertible notes, and was led by Boston Seed Capital and also included SOSV, Good Works Ventures, PV Ventures, MENA Venture Investments and 62 Mile Ventures. Kindara said the funding will be used to finalize manufacturing of its Wink connected, basal thermometer, in addition to extending its platform. Kindara's app helps women track their fertility cycles; the new, Bluetooth connected Wink helps monitor a woman's basal temperature, which is a better gauge of a woman's fertility cycle.
