DispatchHealth Finds $3.6M for Mobile Acute Health Services
Denver-based DispatchHealth, a startup providing mobile, on-site healthcare services, said Wednesday that it has raised $3.6M in a seed funding round. The funding came from EMP Holdings LLC. Dispatch Health was founded by Dr. Mark Prather and Kevin Riddleberger, and says it offers up mobile cars which include a CLIA-certified lab, medical equipment, medications and IV's, health information exchange connectivity, plus a network of established mobile radiology providers--all of which are aimed at administering onsite, advanced medical care. DispatchHealth said that EMP Holdings' Dr. Peter Hudson -- founder of iTriage -- has also joined the company as a board member and investor.
