Gnip Expands Archive Access
Boulder-based Gnip, the social marketing API developer which is now owned by Twitter, said Tuesday that it has opened up access to the company's full archive. The move means that marketers can now access every single, public tweet which has ever been posted through Twitter's service. The expansion means that the access now allows access to any, historical, public tweet for the full nine years that Twitter has been around. The expansion does not give just anyone access to tweets, however: Gnip's tools are only available to marketers who license access to the company's API.
