Arrow Electronics Offers Internet Of Thing Boot Camp
Centennial, Colorado-based Arrow said it is launching an effort to encourage companies to develop Internet-of-Things products, in a deal with Internet-of-Things (Iot) "hacking" company Skookum Digital works. Arrow said that it will provide five day, immersive learning "boot camps"--run by Skookum--to its companies, who are interested in turning ideas into actual products in the IoT space. The new programs promise to help participants create proof-of-concept, prototype, demonstration or business plan for IoT technology at the end of five days. Pricing on the boot camp program was not announced by the companies. Arrow Electronics is a major electronics distributor, and supplies components and services to many Internet-of-Things companies.
