Boulder, Colorado-based bandwidth provider Zayo is expanding its network again, this time in Nashville, Tennessee, to help connect a wireless service provider's towers in the area. Zayo said it expects to connect to 147 new towers in Nashville, as part of an expansion of an existing, 120-route mile network in the city. Zayo said the deal is its first fiber-to-the-tower (FTT) sale in Nashville. Zayo provides a number of wireless providers with wireless backhaul services, connecting wireless towers to a telecom provider' main network via high bandwidth fiber.
