Next Big Sound Acquired By Pandora
Boulder-based music analytics provider Next Big Sound has been acquired by Internet radio service Pandora, Pandora said Wednesday afternoon. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Pandora said it made the acquisition specifically for Next Big Sound's analytics tool, which is used by music makers, labels and marketers. Next Big Sound had announced the acquisition to its users back in May. Next Big Sound was venture backed by Alsop Louie Partners, Foundry Group, SoftTech VC, David cohen, and Troy Henikoff.
