Ping Identity Aims At Public Agencies
Denver-based single sign-on software developer Ping Identity said this morning that it has begun offering up its tools to public agencies, starting with an integration with Connect.gov and the US Postal Service. Ping Identity said its PingFederate solution allows government agencies to offer up secure, single sign-on capability to people who need access to government services and applications. Connect.gov is an effort to allow users to use a single login to access any government agency service--rather than creating a new username and password for every single ageny they visit. Ping Identity says it already provides its services across the Department of Defense, civilian agencies and the intelligence community to employees and contractors.
