Career Step Buys Emergency Certifications
Provo, Utah-based Career Step, a provider of online career training and certification programs, said Friday that it has acquired Emergency Certifications, a provider of online continuing education courses for the healthcare space. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Emergency Certifications is provides Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support via its online site. Career Step was advised by Hogan Lovells US LLP, with Emergency Certifications represented by Greene Holcomb & Fisher LLC. Career Step is owned by Denver-based private equity investor Revelstoke Capital Partners.
