Ancestry.com Seeks Buyer, Says Report
Provo, Utah-based family history site Ancestry.com is looking for a buyer, and has hired investment banking firm Permira Advisers to run an auction of the company, according to a report from Reuters. The report says that Ancestry.com is seeking to sell the company for between $2.5 billion and $3.0 billion. Ancestry.com had revenues of around $619.6M last year, according to the report.
