Parkifi Gets $2M For Smart Parking Software
Denver-based Parkifi, a developer of software technology providing real-time sensing of available parking spots, has raised $2M in a funding round. The funding came from Galvanize Ventures, Foundry Group Angels and Access Ventures, along with others. Parkifi was founded by Ryan Sullivan and Rishi Malik, who previously were at Sendgrid, and had launched the company as part of the Boomtown Startup accelerator. The company said the funds will help it roll out in Denver, as well as Boulder and Pittsburgh. Parkifi's software platform and use of sensors helps parking operators optimize pricing, attract drivers to lots, and help streamline parking enforcement.
