GoDaddy Buys GDDY.com
Newly public domain name and Internet services provider GoDaddy, which is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, said yesterday that it has acquired the domain name GDDY.com. The new domain--which matches its new stock symbol--will provide a direct link to investor information about the company. GoDaddy did not say how much it paid for the domain, which it says was brokered by domain name consulting services Right of the Dot, LLC.
