Soap Launches Home Automation App
Colorado Springs-based Soap Inc., a startup developing home automation technology, said it has launched a new app on the App store, which lets users control home devices from their smartphone. The company said its Soap Home app lets users control such things as lights, thermostats, computers, tablets, and phones, and works with existing Netgear and Linksys routers. Soap says its app costs 99 cents, and that it plans an Android version in the coming months.
