Boulder-based SendGrid said this morning that it has raised $20M more in a Series C, venture funding round, for the company's email delivery software and platform. According to SendGrid, the funding came from Bain Capital Ventures, along with prior investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Foundry Group. SendGrid develops an email delivery platform which helps app and software developers more reliably deliver transactional emails to their users. The company is led by Sameer Dholakia, who was recently appointed the company's CEO.
