Photobucket Expands Into Photo Calendars
Need a personalized, unique gift for that special someone this holiday? Denver-based online photo storage site Photobucket said over the weekend that it has expanded its suite of products into custom photo calendars, letting users of the site create a 2015 calendar using photos from users' photo collections. Photobucket--which launched greeting cards earlier this month--said the new calendars will be a key seasonal product offering for the company. The new products are a part of the Photobucket Print Shop, a new offering by Photobucket looking to leverage the huge number of photos being stored in its service. That service lets users order canvas prints, greetings cards, and prints directly from their Photobucket account. Photobucket looks to be serious about its expansion into photo printing and products--just a few weeks ago, it added a veteran of Shutterfly as a new board member.
