Pluralsight Buys Smarterer For $75M
Salt Lake City-based Pluralsight, the online training site focused on technology and software professionals, said this morning that it has acquired Smarterer, a developer of skills assessment and skills testing software, for $75M. Pluralsight said the buy is its fifth in the past fifteen months. Smarterer was based in Boston. Pluralsight is led by Aaron Skonnard. The company just raised a big, $135M Series B funding earlier this year from Insight Venture Partners, ICONIQ and Sorenson Capital.
