Instacart Expands In Denver
Grocery delivery service Instacart, which launched into the Denver market in June, is expanding its service in Denver to include deliveries from Marczyk Fine Foods, the startup said this morning. Instacart said that the addition brings its total number of retailers in the market to five, including Safeway, Whole Foods Market, King Soopers, Costco, along with Marczyk. Instacart allows users to shop at local grocery stores, for delivery within one hours, harnessing a network of local, crowdsourced "personal shoppers" in the area. Instacart said it has recently more than doubled its Denver user base and number of personal shoppers in Denver and Boulder.
